Galaxy S27 appears in its first credible listing

Galaxy S27 appears in its first credible listing

We have been hearing about Samsung̢۪s next flagship non-foldable smartphone lineup, the Galaxy S27 series, since even before the Galaxy S25 lineup came out. However, there haven't been any reports or leaks about the existence of the upcoming devices from a recognized industry authority. That's changing today.

The Galaxy S27 has been spotted in the GSMA database (via SmartPrix). The listing of the device mentions its name as well as model number (SM-S952U). Going by Samsung̢۪s model number convention, this seems like a carrier-locked variant of the phone for the US. However, the leak doesn̢۪t reveal any of its features.

According to previous reports about the upcoming lineup, it will have four devices: Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra. Reportedly, some or all the models in the series will use OLED panels from BOE rather than Samsung Display. While the Ultra model is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, the others may come with the Exynos 2600 SoC.

While these phones are said to offer an upgraded rear camera setup, the changes may not be significant. Considering that Samsung launched the Galaxy S26 series in February 2026 and follows a yearly refresh cycle, the brand could debut the Galaxy S27 in February 2027. Due to the skyrocketing memory prices, the tech giant could offer them at a significantly higher price than their predecessors.
